Class Fees

All fees must be paid in advance of the start date of a course.  Students will not be allowed to participate in any classes until the fees are paid in full. Fees may be paid in accordance with the terms as discussed with Stagetime or its appointed Franchisee/Territory Manager. Such fees may include additional charges for the processing of credit cards, debit cards, cheques, direct debits, cash or any other method as advised.

Cancellations and Refund Policy

Group Courses: Prior to the commencement of a course, Stagetime tuition may be cancelled by the customer without incurring a charge by giving notice of no less than five business days to the Stagetime booking office. Please note:

  1. A message left on an answer phone or voicemail is not considered as satisfactory notice.

  2. The Stagetime offices are closed at weekends.

Notice of a cancellation of a course within 5 business days of the commencement of that course of classes will result in the full fee being due or deducted from any credit balance as appropriate. Once a course has commenced, no refund is permitted in the event of cancellation.

Group Classes: In the event of Stagetime or its chosen representative cancelling a group class, an alternative day will be offered to the entire class for a “catch-up” session. If the venue/facility is not available for such a class an alternative venue/facility may be offered. If no other venue/facility is available for such tuition, a credit for the class which has been cancelled will be offered at the discretion of the Stagetime Franchisee/Territory Manager.

Once a course has commenced there will be no refund or credit given for the student’s failure to attend classes under any circumstances.

From time to time we may introduce offers for certain products and services. Unless expressly stated, all offers are independent of one another, cannot be combined with other offers, are valid for a limited time only and are liable for removal without notice. Please note offers may vary from venue to venue and certain offers and promotions may be limited to a certain number of customers on a first come first served basis. Offers must be redeemed at the point of booking and cannot be transferred to any other customers.

Adverse Weather Conditions

Adverse weather conditions can sometimes result in the teacher being unable to attend or a venue/facility being closed temporarily. If this happens, we will let you know with as much notice as possible – if you provide us with a mobile phone number at the point of registration and we send you a text message, this will be deemed received. A credit will be applied to your account or if possible a catch-up class will be offered. But if the teacher is present and venue/facility is open, our classes will go ahead. In this case we refer to the Cancellations and Refund Policy - “Once a course has commenced there will be no refund or credit given for the student’s failure to attend classes under any circumstances”.

Medical Forms

Stagetime provides a Medical Form within the student registration document. This form must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian, declaring any known medical conditions, and returned to your Stagetime Franchisee/Territory Manager.

This information must be updated every 12 months and when there are any changes to a student’s medical condition.

All information obtained will be kept in accordance with Data Protection Act 1998 {10}.

Stagetime will not accept liability for the loss of or damage to any personal effects brought by a student to any class.

Students, parents, guardians, siblings or all other associates must observe the venue entry rules and respect all other rules associated with the venue. Venue staff shall retain the right to refuse admission.

It is imperative that students arrive no more than 5 minutes before the commencement of each class and should be collected from the venue no more than 5 minutes after the class has ended.  No student will be released until they are collected by an appointed responsible adult.

In accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy, “Once a course has commenced there will be no refund or credit given for the student’s failure to attend classes under any circumstances”.

Stagetime Teachers are fully insured under Stagetime’s Liability Insurance and any teachers who are working alone with children have been subject to Enhanced DBS checks. The suitability and subsequent appointment of a teacher shall be at the absolute discretion of Stagetime at all times. Should a teacher start to teach a course but fail to complete the full course of classes, which have been paid for, this will not constitute grounds for full or part credit of fees as long as Stagetime find a suitable replacement teacher for the remainder of the course.  Should Stagetime not be able to find a suitable replacement teacher, a credit will be offered towards the cost of a future course once a suitable teacher has been found. It remains at the absolute discretion of Stagetime to offer the alternative of a credit in such circumstances.

A chaperone may sometimes be employed by Stagetime to assist with the management of students in certain classes.  Stagetime chaperones are fully insured and any that are working alone with children are subject to Enhanced DBS checks.  The absence of a chaperone will not stop a class taking place.

In the event of a student, parent, guardian, sibling or other associate refusing to obey an instruction from a member of Stagetime or venue staff, or behaving in an unruly manner towards a member of staff or any other person, or causing damage to venue/facility premises or any of the furniture fixtures or equipment in those premises, the student shall not be permitted to continue with classes. Stagetime shall then have the right to terminate the contract without further notice and without being required to offer any credit to the student, and the student shall not be accepted for any future course organised by Stagetime.

Condition of Venue/Facility Premises

Whilst Stagetime will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the condition of the venue/facility premises including the changing rooms, washing facilities and classroom area are in suitable condition, they do not accept liability for any injury to a student which may be caused by any defect and further advise that any claim arising from such a defect must be addressed to the proprietors of the venue.

Transmission of Illness: Any student known to be or found to be suffering from any infectious ailment or condition will not be allowed to participate in the class and it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure that the student is fit and well enough to participate.  Stagetime will not accept liability for any illness passed to a student by another student in a class or in the venue/facility.

Absence Through Illness: In accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy, “Once a course has commenced there will be no refund or credit given for the student’s failure to attend classes under any circumstances”.

General Rules

  • No student should enter the classroom without a member of Stagetime staff being already present.

  • No food and drink other than water must be consumed in the classroom.

  • Students, siblings, parents and guardians are expected to observe the venue’s no smoking policy.

  • It is forbidden under all circumstances to use mobile phones and/or audio visual equipment in the changing rooms.

  • Stagetime obtains written permission from each parent/guardian to take and use pictures of students.  This permission does not extend to students and parents so, therefore, no mobile phones and/or audio visual equipment of any kind are allowed during classes.

  • Venue facilities are only available to be used by venue members in accordance with venue rules.
