Getting to Know ME!

Where are you from?

What's your favourite type of music?

I'll listen to anything, but the majority of what I listen to is Rock.

What three songs do you listen to the most?

Charmer - Kings of Leon

Long Live the Queen - Frank Turner

Keep Me - The Black Keys

What was the last TV series you saw? Did you enjoy it?

Westworld - Still watching it, but it's got me gripped!

What was the last live performance you saw? Did you enjoy it?

I watched the film "Aliens"at the Royal Albert Hall with the score played live by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. It was an incredible experience.

What's your most used/ favourite app on your phone?

IMDb - I love films and it's a great source of information.

Who is your favourite performer?

I am a huge fan of Folk/Punk/Rock singer Frank Turner. I've seen him a few times now and he never fails to impress with hugely energetic shows and, something missing from a lot of live acts these days, engaging with the audience.

What's your favourite TV series?

The Walking Dead - Nothing comes close to this programme in my opinion. Great characters and storylines with real depth and heart.

What's your favourite musical?

It's hard to choose, but the one that impressed me most was Once. It's a bit left-field, but the combination of great staging and the cast playing all of the music live on stage was a winner for me.  After that - Spamalot!

What's your favourite song from a musical?

I'm All Alone - Spamalot! I played Patsy in a local production of Spamalot! and this was my favourite part.  It's a song with great comic value and a massive heart, witha big "ahh..." moment at the end.

What made you start performing?

I took drama GCSE at school because I loved working on performance and character, even from a young age. I followed this with studying Theatre and Performing Arts at college.

Give a funny/ interesting story about a performance you have given...

During a performance of Lend Me a Tenor, I had to help a sleepy character to their bed. Moving their arm over my head to rest it on my shoulder for support, I managed to knock my wig off. I just had to pick it up and soldier on!

Finally, which is your favourite Stagetime animal?

The Dancing Lion.
